Left Airbnb at 9:15. Took a subway to stop close to Sacre-Couer basilica. Probably 100 to 150 steps to climb. It is on a hill with lovely view of the city. Beautiful church.
Then we walked down, down more stairs. Struggled to fine Metro entrance. It was in the middle of the street. We went to huge department store Les Galleries Lafayette. Went to observatory at the top. Beautiful view of city.
Afterwards we went to the Museum of Paris. Spent about an hour there and then headed to the Eiffel Tower for our appointment at 4 o’clock. To take the elevator up to the second floor. Looking down at beautiful views.
Took Metro back to St Michel- Notre Dame station. Bought a few souvenirs on way back to Airbnb.
Went back to crepe restaurant we liked, Breizh Cafe. I had a salmon and goat cheese galette. We shared a carafe of cider.
Back in Airbnb at 8:15 PM and ready to pack it in for the night. It was a lovely day. The weather was beautiful and we saw lots of sites and lots of people.
Yesterday was me record number of Steps was over 20,000, today was record number of stairs 24.
